If you want a beach to yourself, this beach is for you - peaceful, secluded, very few visitors. A
walk south takes you to Five Mile Point; at low tide you can explore the tide pools or continue
around to Whiskey Run Beach. Much further south would take you to Bullards Beach and the Coquille
River. A walk north takes you to another name from the history books - Sacchi Beach. Further
north is Cape Arago, located near the small fishing town of Charleston.
A beachcomber's favorite for hunting agates and petrified wood. During winter storms it is a
favorite location for finding the much sought after Japanese glass fishing floats. Great any time
of year for long leisurely strolls - sunrise, sunset or anytime.
